  • We do not use fungicides, pesticides or herbicides
  • Our farm has been certified organic since 1991
  • We fertilize the soil with manure from our horses in the stable, which feed only on the grass from our meadows or with selected hay and fodder
  • We grow healthy and tasty food, certified organic by Eco-Cert Italia
  • We teach schoolchildren the advantages of consuming only foods that are in season in the area, because
    • Zero km products do not weigh on the environment even for their transport
    • Forcing fruit and vegetables to be ready for consumption all year round means using chemicals that alter their flavor and flatten it, as well as polluting our land and the body of those who eat them
  • The energy we use is all with zero environmental impact
  • Since 2014 we have installed solar panels on the roof of the stable
  • We have chosen to avoid single-use items as much as possible:
    • No disposable cups or plastic bottles
    • You will find a water dispenser (cold or at room temperature, still or sparkling) from which you can help yourself for free as many times as you want. The glasses are washable and the jugs are made of glass
    • We cannot give you plastic bottles when you leave, but we can give you water, in the personalized thermal bottles on sale at the reception
    • We do not use paper towels, but cloth napkins
  • Our swimming pool is green
  • We print as little as possible
  • We try to cook only what is needed for booked guests
  • Vegetable waste becomes compost, a fundamental ingredient for the development of our garden
  • Animal waste goes to our dogs or cats
  • We have been practicing differentiated waste collection for 10 years
  • We decorate the cakes of the newlyweds or birthdays with fresh flowers from our garden
  • We use LEDs to illuminate outdoor spaces
  • On our lawn we only allow rice or flower petals, to be thrown to the newlyweds, no confetti of non-compostable material
